Next, I work on getting your numbers cleaned up and organized. If your books are behind or messy, (or even non-existent) I’ll bring everything up to date and build a simple system that works for your business.

If you’re using the DIY option, I’ll review your spreadsheets and answer questions to help keep things on track. If you choose monthly bookkeeping services, you’ll receive clear reports each month — explained in simple language so you can easily see how your business is performing.

Before I ever worked in bookkeeping for pet businesses, I was building one myself. What started as a small side hustle on Rover eventually grew into my own independent boarding and daycare business.
I know firsthand how exciting — and overwhelming — it can be to grow a pet business. You're juggling clients, animals, scheduling, marketing, and somewhere in the middle of all that… the bookkeeping.
When I first started out, I didn’t have the money for the “big dog” bookkeepers, coaches, or support programs. I had to figure a lot of things out the hard way.
That experience is exactly why The Paw Team exists.
I created this business to provide the kind of support and guidance I wish I’d had when I was starting out — practical help, clear numbers, and someone who understands the unique challenges of running a pet business.
